Pillars of Freedom
Economic Freedom and Security
It’s no secret that our economy has seen better days. With the rise of automation and globilization, Hoosier jobs are being outsourced to foreign workers, leaving Indiana citizens slim pickings of service and gig jobs. It’s time we have someone in office who actually understands economics and the effects of trade and industry on our state. I won’t waste your hard earned tax dollars on frivelous things like getting big buisness to build in our state , but instead invest in Hoosier entrepreneurship, start ups, and co-opertives; giving in order Hooseirs who have been looked over by society an opportunity to contribute to our state’s economy.
“All men are created equal” is a belief that I hold near and dear to my heart. I consider the protection of civil liberty a prime duty of the state. It is an absolute travesty that we do not have a hate crime bill in Indiana that includes the language for gender identity, sex, and age. It’s a sad reflection of our institutions that we cannat stand together in unity and say “you are my equals“. Whether your ‘e gay or straight, trans or cis, black or white, Indiana will be a state that welcomes you. Let’s show the world our Hoosier hospitality!
A Free Republic
There is a war on voting rights. Whether you are Republican, Democrat, Independent, etc, you can be rest assured that your vote has been gerry mandered by the supermajority. Combine that with packaged politics, it’s never been so obvious that we need serious electoral reforms to preserve the dignity of our democracy, We need to work together to pass star voting, to implement proportional representation in the house and senate, and campaign finance reform by sponsoring an anti corruption act.
